Had the door panel off today, and yeah they are 17" in the front. Didnt check the back, but i guess they are the same.

How easy was door panel removal? did you snap any of the clips? also what would you replace the speakers with and would you replace the wiring with quality speaker cable?

    Errm took about 5 mins (i took pictures too, which i might post sometime) Didn't snap any of the clips, the only hard bit was the door handle, but that just unclips.

    I havent thought about what I am going to replace them with yet, im gonna have a look around, possibly amping them too - havent decided.

    And i might replace the cable, pretty straight forward cabling looms up to the head unit.
