crizdee
Greetings Everyone, I have a streetKA H reg and all was fine 2 days ago, parked the car and today the parking brakes seems to be stuck solid. The hand brake lever is working fine and I've pulled the rubber hood of the lever and can see the cable is slackening ok when lever is released. Ive tried rocking car back and forth under reasonable engine power but no go absolutely stuck solid. Any suggestions where to start or what maybe the cause? Secondly... Currently searching for service manual! is there a PDF version anywhere? i see some on eBay but don't seem to work with latest OS on windows! Thanks Chris
Stillwaters69
Hi, sounds like your brake shoes are stuck - but this shouldnt really happen over just 2 days.try giving the brake drums a good hard tap with a hammer, if that doesn't free them then your cable is broken.Could be that over all if you cable isn't broken then it could be weak - so other way get it checked out.Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
jmurray01
How can you have a 1990 KA? They weren't released until 1996 and the StreetKa wasn't around until after 2000.

Have you got the old format H000 TTT or HH00 TTT? Sounds like it might be a custom plate if it's not the new style?
