π Electrics for me were the easy bit, it took me 30mins to get the ***** handle off the tailgate to drill the camera hole lol. I was ready for giving up!2 points

Of course I believe you mate. Just a bit of banter.π Good job on the camera too, I'd probably set my car electrics on fire trying that. I reckon I could get the rear trim panel off ok though!π2 points

A reversing camera is great when parking in a tight space. Fitted one on my fiesta and just today it helped me park in a tight space. Was parking on a narrow road so had to be careful how far the front was swinging out. Sometimes I think of having parking sensors as it gives you a audible que rather than moving you eyes to something else like the camera screen.2 points

I don't normally post here but I am feeling very very smug today and I have to share my reason. Today I fitted a reverse camera to my mk3.5 st line Focus. It does not have rear sensors so there was no PAM or wiring pugs laid ready. I had to get a 54 pin APIM harness that had all the wires present and also an RCA socket, Amazon smiled on me there. I enabled the cam via Forscan and the harness came today. I've fitted it and tested it and it works! The hardest part was getting the boot release and number plate lights part off the car. Anyways, it works perfectly now. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk2 points

I checked back today after a week of not going on the site at all, entered my VIN and boom! the file has been recognised. I didn't upload again today, the last time I uploaded it was last week. If you have uploaded the file and you got the screen saying it had been uploaded then just keep checking back.2 points

I checked mine this morning And it has finally registered! The download begins Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk2 points

I've had it on two consecutive Focus with absolutely no dramas. An occasional squirt of the mechanism with 3 in 1 oil works wonders. Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)1 point

if the incorrect spark plug grade was causing it I could see the possibility of the plug tips being so hot that the ignite the compressed fuel/air without a spark but that would cause a very rough running on, not normal smooth running. I am also thinking maybe faulty ignition switch. but also possibly a sticking relay.1 point

Only 7ps for the expense of a remap? Wow, that's a pathetic increase! You could probably feel more effect from gaffer taping all the panel gaps up!π€£1 point

Ebay China special! I tend to stay away from out of the UK sellers, it's a bit of a gamble sometimes if the item will even turn up. There are some aftermarket UK based sellers on there too though. Its another option for the OP but I would rather pay Β£3.74 for a genuine Ford part.π1 point

Clicking will either be the bearing in the fan or the HDD there the only 2 moving parts really in the laptop .. in regards to you coping it all depends on the location of where from and where too whether the file/folder name match up.. To make sure you back up most thing of your laptop id just suggest to back to c:/user/ (username). Might take a while but at least everything in your account is backed up. @TomsFocus @iantt happy birthday to you both π π. Lol I don't think I've ever been in a club. My parents I don't think would allow that plus I don't like seeing how you got blokes standing outside with their drinks probably drunk. I think I'm still young to be looking for someone plus personally I think it's best I plan on future investments when I start working like saving for a property then saving for a nice car for myself. The type of girls I like are mainly the decent ones but mostly those types were also brought up to not have boyfriends. Even the girl I liked I once was coming home on the bus with her from college and she said I don't want my family seeing me with a boy. I'd say when we're older, working full time would be when these types of girls might try looking for someone. My mum actually found out about the girl I liked and thankfully she said in no anger that you know her culture isn't the same as us and that if I did ever get married to her and had kids she would move them closer to her culture or teaching them her language. Personally after starting uni and not seeing her I felt a bit more happy with my life. Problem with me is I get insecure and just went through stress or depression. That's kind of why I wonder if I want to get married later in my life.1 point

So when opening up one mirror faces corrwctly but other points forward? When folding inwards one folds properly? The hit one stays at 90 degrees to car? Sounda like the mirror frame has just unclipped from the root where the motor attaches. Just pull it back into the correct position and it should just click back onto the root. Steering rack is different on STs but not on others fitted with 17β wheels. Many people have reported that donβt need the limiters but it would depend on the offset if your wheels and the tyre width you are running. Limiters are cheap from Ford and easily fitted. You may need to change the wheel/tyre size using FORScan if your rolling circumference of the new combo is significantly different in order to keep your speedo accurate.1 point

I have my car serviced at Ford also becuase of the recovery benefit. The Β£149 motorcraft service also includes it at participating dealers (check, cos not all do!).1 point

Most seem to say that standard 7J 17s will fit straight on with no mods. required, and tyres don't touch arch or liners. 17s were a factory option (on Titanium X at least). However, these optional alloys when ordered from Ford for aftermarket fitment, apparently require the fitment of steering rack limiters. Not found out yet if steering rack is different on a vehicle specced with 17s for factory fitment, or whether it's just plastic inserts on a standard rack, as it is for aftermarket fitment.1 point

There are some really good spring compressors on the market that are much safer than the one I used but are expensive. If I was doing the job again I would be looking for a more robust tool.I had a heavy duty chain in my garage and wrapped it around the compressed spring.I also wore safety specs and gloves. The more times you do it the better you become at itπ1 point

Merged and moved. FYI this is old news, dug up by the media again because Brexit's gone quiet maybe? If you are concerned, either have a dealer turn off keyless entry or keep your keys in a metal tin/farday pouch.1 point

Top brake light seal perishes and water can get in through the boot lock. Open boot and pour some water directly onto the high level brake light from a watering can and see if drips through your boot hatch and comes out through boot lock. Was common problem on mk6.
