Probably he was just thought it was worth adding for people who may read it differently, I.e it's not advisable to do could be read as it can be done when it's not really an option.2 points

My resolution is to be less of an annoying, miserable bast... Ah who am I kidding! But seriously - I want to find some sort of 'work' this year, something to give me a reason to get up and support myself, I don't even mind if it's one of those made up jobs they do just to humour useless people, I just really hate living off handouts that I haven't earnt, being in a constant state of existential crisis with nothing to take my mind off it or get me motivated.2 points

Get ready for a Monster (excuse the pun) headache when you stop Lenny. I would taper off if i were you as going cold turkey when on your other shifts from all that caffeine will be a shock to your system. The bad head is inevitable! My resolution was going to be to get a six pack by my 40th in August. Might just keep my top on instead and carry on enjoying eating crap!2 points

I'm on around 1 litre of energy drinks per day now, so pretty much the same as you. I have been worse though as I used to get through 2 litres (4 cans or 2 of the big bottles) and it got to the stage where even that wasn't enough. After making a conscious effort to cut back, I can now survive on 3-4 cups of coffee and 1 litre of energy drink, spread out through the day. That's still far more than you should consume (both caffeine and sugar), but it is lowest I can get to at this moment. On days off I just stick to coffee as I don't need as much energy, but when I'm working I'd literally fall asleep if I didn't have my energy drinks too. As for my New Years Resolution? Well, it will be the same as last years... 1366 x 768!1 point

It should fit straight in but use your own belt restrainer back on new seat. As the seats have same frame. Maybe need to do wiring if seat is electric adjust or heated. Yunii Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk1 point

Converting a NASP engine into a Turbo engine is not simple and will cost a lot of money. As said there are ways you can get a bit more power out if it but again to get any decent performance gains you will still be spending a lot of money for a small increase. Turbo cars are much easier to tune and get extra power out at relative cost. The money you would spend making it a turbo you could easily buy a better standard turbo car and then tune that up in time to get more power.1 point

One possible big downside is it might be quite easy to bump into the towing car if you are a bit slow putting in the clutch, or press the throttle too much! Not really suitable for automatic transmissions either. I would not advise it after a fuel pump change or similar unless it had been well primed with diesel, spinning an un-lubricated pump up to normal speed could damage it. Also do not use it as a substitute for trying to fill the filter, for the same reason. But to shift a stubborn little air pocket in the pump, it should be fine. Glad to hear you got it working. I remember how frustrating it was for me 4 years ago.1 point

I think you're misunderstanding what I mean, yes I believe that perhaps that is such the cause, but no I don't believe that me wasting my time greasing up parts on a 20k car every 6 months is the solution - I've already searched and found others have had the problem and went through the process of getting it sorted via lubrication exactly as I have, and the issue returned, they ended up having parts replaced, this is what i'm aiming for. I'm not wasting my time nor money lubricating parts of my car every year when I can get it fixed under warranty. I don't think you have anything further to add to this topic at this time so please stop responding.1 point

I use afermarket HID lights in combination with projector headlights for about 12 Years now without any major problems. I used them on my focus MK1, Focus MK2 and Focus MK3. The only problems I ever had in 12 Years were 2x a defective HID ballast and 2X a defective HID bulb. I currently use a set of 35 Watt 4300K aftermarket HID lights in combination with a set of aftermarket Sky-Wing headlights. These headlights have H7 projectors which are prepared for H7 HID bulbs. These headlights are not cheap but in my opinion definetely worth every penny. The light output and beam pattern of these projector headlights can be compared with OEM HID lights. My headlight setup is fully legal. I live in the Netherlands and the Dutch law does not require automatic headlight height adjustment or headlight washers. The only regulation is that the beam pattern must comply to the applicable standard and the lights are not allowed to blind other traffic. Correctly installed/adjusted projector headlights with HID bulbs fully comply to these regulations. About 99% of all aftermarket HID bulbs and ballasts that are sold in Europe and the UK are made in Asia. These are often just Chinese or Korean products that ere rebranded with a European/UK brand name. Because of this I decided to buy my HID ballasts and bulbs from Ebay instead of an expensive European seller. I only use H7 HID bulbs with a metal base. These are generally higher quality and easier to install than the H7 HID bulbs with a plastic base. I always have 2 spare ballasts and 2 spare H7 HID bulbs on stock. This way I can replace a defective ballast or bulb immediately.1 point

Anyone happen to know what happened to Spong the mincer company? My No.25 mincer needs new feet pads. Whilst I've tried using shaped pieces of rubber and leather, but they don't hold the mincer tight enough to the worktop as the actual feet do. Each time I go to mince something firm (like cartlidge ), the mincer moves. The feet pads are humped like a belgian bun on a plate: rather than just flat pieces. Apart numerous ebay listings for other spong mincers, Google doesn't seem to know1 point

Wonderful I've just opened the fridge to get some cream for my coffee and the butter drawer fell of the door and broke on the tiled floor. Whilst I can epoxy it back together, it's going to need some additional fabricated ABS pieces for reinforcement, as it's fractured through the slot that slides on to the door piece Fortunately Brandy missed the opportunity to grab the spare cheese ( two Bries, a Camembert and a Red Leicester) that dropped in front of her along with all the butter.1 point

Not at all intending to be rude here but I don't believe your theory one bit. My fiesta was 10 years old and didn't do this, someone I work with has a mk3 focus his doesn't do it, my uncle a mk2.5 his doesnt do it, another family relative has a mk1.5 focus yet his doesnt do it either. Like I said before it went in and was lubricated by Sandicliffe and it lasted a day. I shouldn't be going out of my way to lubricate it myself on a car which was 20k brand new. When it comes to things like this im an insistent person, I want it sorting and will do what I can to make sure they sort it.1 point

nothing you've turned will effect the car that way what youre experiencing is crabbing if you removed the gearbox you may have disturbed the subframe and steering geometry assuming its,all back together correctly and the gearbox mounts tight it may be out of alignment 4 wherl alignment will be necessary1 point

There will a header (sometimes just bare pins: sometime a socket) on the washing machine's control PCB, that you could if you desired, connect to and run diagnostic software. But the expense, unless you're an appliance engineer with numerous washing machines in need of probing; it wouldn't really be worth it.1 point

Lol, it's the best way tbh. I get to spell my name right (something that's apparently impossible for anyone else) and the postal service and DVLA can't lose it! Plus you get the new V5 in 2 or 3 days usually, might be a bit longer at this time of year though. Just have to be careful that you make sure you're the seller lol, otherwise it doesn't let you do it.1 point

Was looking for something on Google Street view and come across this fine example of parking: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.3496765,1.4276693,3a,89.9y,237.57h,79.94t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sBnQdfhDuJpIJh2RKx3ZXcg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en1 point

BOGOF at the hospital... I reckon 9 out of 10 for the Rover which has been abandoned with a certain flair. The Lexus only deserves a 5, losing marks for being straight and pulling fully into the parking berth.1 point
