  4. Like how the reverse camera looks after cutting the boot handle and repositioning it there. Looks factory 😊. Gives space now hopefully for the plate to be positioned correctly.

  5. I don't own (or have even used) a PS4 so I've no idea how loud they get. This is the YouTube channel that I visited before I attempted to re-paste my Xbox: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfOrKQtC1tDfGf_fFVb8pYw/featured There is a specific video where he's shown actual overheating on all three versions of the PS4. He's also got one on thermal paste (original PS4), a detailed teardown video of the PS4 Pro and one on cleaning of the console as well.

  8. Go to the Yuasa site here Link put your reg in and see what it comes up with. If it comes up with the YBX5075 that’s what I fitted when I had mine, pretty sure the first number is the number of years warranty, so 5 years. Then just see what’s the cheapest you can get it for.

  9. I have the latest Ford Focus purchased October 2018 with latest firmware but only the F7 map. After following suggestions in this forum to complain to Ford CRC about map and speed limits being out of date, I received the same reply as everybody else. But I went back again and demanded compensation and a Manager was assigned to me and phoned by appointment. When they gave me the standard jargon that other people here received that an update would be issued either late 2019/early 2020, I said that my car was not fit for purpose and I demanded compensation, and they then offered me a ticket for a free service which I understand other members have also received. I suggest that everybody else who complains also demands a free service which hopefully will shake up Fords a bit more about this problem..

  10. Looking Ace mate 👍 I love doing little projects like that, Sadly I don't get to do too many like that anymore; doing the house these days and theres less skill involved and less room for tweaks like there was with the car, Most tweaks with the house have now been done; everything else is straight forward. Getting back to you though; you have made a fantastic job on that mate looks factory fitted, Maximum street Credit for making it virtually unnoticeable 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

  11. To stop the digging just fill the holes in again but put some chicken wire just below the surface. Keep repeating that every time they dig and after a short while they'll think the whole area is lined with wire and they will stop. Use pepper or chili powder to stop them chewing the lino and furniture. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

  12. @Lenny Mrs Turvey has just reminded me that our black Lab chewed through the plastic tray in her cage and then burrowed through the lino and only stopped when she got to the concrete floor! She was about the age your pup is now 😉

  13. Thanks. I think if you were sitting in a jam or slow moving traffic, your fan would need to come on to avoid overheating. Mine boils up just sitting idling in the driveway after about 20 minutes. The radiator gets very hot but with no airflow it can't dissipate heat. I've got a 5K ohm variable resistor on order. I can substitute that in the sensor socket and find out what resistance is required to fire up the fans slow and fast. Then I can test any new sensor I get will provide that resistance BEFORE fitting it.

  16. I think you might be right on that Tom, different brands making the switch at different times. Doing further research this morning at the car display at Whitby regatta - 3 80's Fords (a C reg Fiesta, C reg XR3i cabriolet and another (B reg this time) Capri 2.8i) all had left hand stalks. The 70's cars on display (all BL brands so not a direct comparison) had right hand stalks so it looks as if the change started late 70's/early 80's. As you suggest, "oriental" brands seem to have persisted with r/h stalks for longer. Not sure about SAAB though - my 9-3 (2001) had a l/h stalk, though by that time it was virtually a Vectra in drag so who knows what GM chucked in there.

  19. I’ve got metal plates but they aren’t pressed and they have AC on the bottom so they went in the bin lol. i always blur out the front half of my plate when I post online, I’ve had it cloned before now so don’t take any risks. Looking forward to seeing yours. i used Halfords adhesive tape that is designed for plates and it’s done me fine, directly onto the car itself as I don’t have holders. Just remember to clean both surfaces with an APC or IPA and you should be fine. i will have no choice but to take it slow, family life is very demanding in my house lol

  21. A really cool build loved the pics. Its great to see people doing their own R&D then sharing it. The way emissions and tax is going we will see a lot more smaller displacement engine builds.

  22. The camera was like this originally. Had to move the plate lower and even cut it slightly for it to sit in. Now I'm able to have the plate in its original position and now looks to be space for the plate behind the camera. I bought 3D gelled plates. The characters are made of gel / ink then stuck on the plate. Will reveal them when my plate holders come hopefully Tuesday and put them on 😉. Just worried about using adhesive pads as I'll worry the plates might fall off. If you need any help with detailing / products you can private message me 👍. Nice take things slow. If you doing everything at once you'll end up with nothing else to do to the car.

  24. It'll be used on road and on track. I'm hoping to use this one a bit more at weekends too. I've no idea what the fuel economy is. In the Lotus I was getting about 36mpg on the road. On track I was using about 6L every 20 mins, whatever that works out at... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  25. Where was the camera originally pal? Looks nice and meet there now. New pressed plates look smart! That may be my next purchase, just spent a fortune on detailing products. Going to try my hand at clay barring and may look into a DA polisher if all goes well lol. Also got some H2go for a try and ‘liberated’ a traffic cone to act as a wheel holder while i ceramic coat them. While the wheels are off the calliper sure will get the race red paint treatment too. Lots of plans but very little time, damn you 3yr old daughter and demanding wife 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷‍♂️

  26. Yeah that's the one...although hopefully yours will be plugged in unlike that one! By 2010 you should almost certainly be on the cDPF unless it was very late registered. I've seen plenty of 09 models on the cDPF. Easiest way is probably to check ETIS (or message me your reg and I'll check), under emissions it'll either say Euro IV & DPF or Euro V.

  27. My Mondeo clutch & DMF was £950 all in with VAT. I really doubt an '05 1.6 petrol will have a DMF (euro car parts don't list any flywheels for your setup) Part ex you won't get much. If it's a tidy car, good history and for an 05 it's fairly low mileage get the job done. If you end up going for something else you run a very real risk of buying someone else's problems they didn't want to fix. I've had a MK1 and MK2 Focus, both 1.6 petrol. Looked after they are brilliant. Punch your reg into euro car parts and see what your options are it'll give you an idea of price. Or email a few garages for a quote, it's such a common car it won't be the first Clutch they will have done on a mk 2

  28. Driving actually calms me most of the time and because of the cause of some of my anxiety, being in the car means I can isolate myself from contaminants and get away quickly if something triggers it off. Yes, SE4 and wipeout are the free PS+ games this month. I can remember the original wipeout racer on PS1.

  30. right smart *****. the other connections are exactly that, connections not part of the sync plug you have got from amazon. so since you are being lazy and not going through both threads as mentioned to find the answers, you really shouldnt get lippy with people you tit "'ACM main plug is the larger of two black plugs from the cd player'' ''ÁCM accessory is the smaller one'' there is two wires to move from one to the other as per guide FCDIM is the screen connector in your sync 1 take the two cables from there to the plug that connects your radio buttons AS PER LUKES PDF THAT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. if you need more help feel free to shout and cry like a little girl

  34. Hi, Obviously you need to get the car back in to check the keyless system. My experience of MK4s is that they are not updating all the modules at PDI and MK4s are tending to suffer with software glitches (typical Ford) You may have some sort of current drain going on, though again it could be software related. You can update the SYNC3 system yourself by following the instructions on the Ford website (search Ford Sync 3 update UK). Get the dealer to update every module that requires it and your problems should disappear. Are you driving in Sport mode? Stop/Start deactivates in sport mode
