hi im wondering if anybody can help...... we have a 2.0 tdci tourneo which has a whisle coming from the turbo. it will rev sometimes to 3000 rpm and sounds like it hits a limiter. we have put a new actuator on it but it still does it. any adivce would be grateful thank you

    the turbo pipe does have a tendency to split...run the engine bonnet up...get someone to stand at front of engine and listen/watch while you rev...you should be able to tell pretty quick if the pipe is split.

    The egrs are known for going too...this can whistle as they can get stuck and also cause the 3000rpm fault...

    if you cant see/find a split...get a diagnostic done.
