hawker
On my 2006 TDCi, I get oil leaking from from the rocker cover breather pipe (which goes from the rocker cover into the main air filter hose). I also get some oil contamination in the air filter. Is this normal or should I be concerned. The plastic clip connector is not particularly tight so this may be causing the oil on the engine. Is there any "give" in yours if you wiggle it about, or is this looseness the norm? I had the injector seals replaced recently to tackle the oil leak on the engine (which i was told was in fact diesel) but the problem is still there, so it seems that was £170 spent for nothing. There's a sort of "filter" beyond the MAF sensor if I look up there, its a sort of plastic mesh, but I cant see an actual filter proper (one that can be disposed of and renewed). I'm a little concerned about the breather hose connector tho. Seems to have far too much give in it for my liking.
