KAnewbie
Hi everyone, wondering you can help me out. The wheel bolts on my KA (Mk2) have started to rust (unsure why) and i'm looking to get a set of wheel bolt covers or just a whole new set of bolts for the car. Does anyone know what size i should be looking at and where i can get some? I have measured the diameter of the bolts (17mm) but cant seeme to find any covers that fit. Thanks

Unfortunately the only shop i have near me is Halfords and im reluctant to go there because i know how useless they are. I have been looking online and have found a few sets on wheel bolts at good prices but i'm unsure what size to get. They're on alloys, spraying them could be an option, any advice as i'm clueless thanks

Just trying to find some bolts covers or buy a whole new set. would probably be easier to buy a new set, I doubt they're very expensive. would be cool to see a picture, ive not heard of this happening before
KAnewbie
sorry will post a picture just keep forgetting to take one! But they have got progressively worse during the wet weather, my boyfriend said it could be the wheel cleaner iv been using?? Anyway, i think im going to buy a new set, have had a look online the only thing is without taking a bolt off the car and measuring it i dont know what size to get. are they all standard on ka's or differ? sorry completely clueless and desperate to get new ones coz they're starting to look trashy!! :( :(
Amie07
Exact same thing has happened 2 mine, likewise I think its the alloy wheel cleaner I've been using, or rather me not using it properly and not drying them properly. I'm pretty sure with a bit of effort and the right chemicals the rust could b removed though.

MrrNoName
im not sure what size they are, id probably just take one off and measure it, shouldent be that difficult with the right tool (which you need to replace them anyway) :P
