MrrNoName
Hi all, ive just noticed on my 2006 1.8tdci focus titanium that there is a fairly large black box under each front seat. The black box's are marked ford mo co (ford motor company im guessing) the box connects to a large flexi pipe containing many cables which goes to a small black plastic square on the front underside of the seat with "tyco" written on it, this "tyco" box has black plastic pipes going to it which come from the inside of the seat. never noticed these before but then again ive never looked under my seats before haha :P anybody have any idea what these box's under the seats do? maybe they have something to do with the pressure sensors in the seat that set the chime off if you dont have your seatbelt on? just a guess though? Thanks for any replys :)
LiamZetec
Yeah as you said it could be to do with the seatbelt sensors. Also have you got airbags on both front seats? If so then the wiring could be linked with this too. Liam
H3lly
Heated seats or airbags sensors.
