rachelirwin
3weeks ago, I started my car and drove 1 mile down the road - stopped my car and it wouldnt start again. I got a tow and it started then and was perfect for the next 3 weeks, until today. Started my car on this cold day, started well (a few chungs and away it went)...drove out of my driveway and up the road about half a mile and it lost power and the engine stopped and wouldnt start. Anti-freeze levels are good and battery terminals are clean. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Rach
tommy.h
Hi Rach what kind of milage do you do on a daily basis as it will normally take about 10 miles to put back what you take out of the battery on starting. so in winter with lights/heated window and various other things much longer. i would look at the battery and maybe try charging or taking for a long run 25/30 miles. tom
