Miles
Hi there, Engine warning light came on yesterday on my 1.8 Zetec Focus (2002). Lifestyle Ford (Tonbridge, Kent) ran their diagnostics and apparently the rear oxgygen heat sensor is showing that the catalytic converter is faulty. First, very surprised to hear this after just 57k miles. My previous Focus (1998) ran through to 96k miles with the original exhaust and cat! Second, Lifestyle Ford want £850 to replace the part. How can this be when Cats cost around £100? Any advice or views on this would be very welcomed. Many thanks, Miles (New Member).
