Tato
which front end looks better? haha and it dont look out of place next to a proper car mk7 all day any day unless you own a mk6... every1 that owns a mk6 i talk to says theirs looks better, but i must say i never liked the mk7 but it grew on me now i think its stunning and as for driving its a doddle, the chassis is top notch you dont ever feel like you working it too hard, the steering is spot on, clutch is light, brakes are perfect, driving positions are excellent only lil moan i can have is the smaller back window The picture with your father's car was under the belt :D As for the front (Mk6 vs Mk7)...you already know the answer ;)
kevin lancelott
I think the build quality on the MK 6 and 6.5 is better then the MK 7.I do like the lighter steering though.

DumboBattyhead
The mk7 is definately better to look at and better to drive, but (on my right hand drive model)I hate the lack of space to the left of the clutch pedal. I find that ledge thing takes up the space I used to use in my mk6.5 to rest my left foot.

I rest my left foot on there comfortably on long motorway journeys & I have size ten feet.

I rest my left foot on there comfortably on long motorway journeys & I have size ten feet. The ledge does what it is supposed to, its just that I have got so used to being able to stretch my legs out straighter by using the space that was to the left of the clutch pedal on the mk6.5 that I find it a pain to have a ledge there. Mind you, I'm not tempted to go back to a mk6.5 tho' ;)

D4nz0
Mk7 is the only Fiesta I've ever owned.... and the only Fiesta I've ever wanted to own. As said before, all previous versions aren't as grown up..... alot politer than I'd have put it.... I'd have said, previous versions are for boy racers and neds, especially the ST. If someone wanted a decent ST, they should go and get the Focus.

fordieashx
Well I have to say mk6 (for obvious reasons ^_^) but I think they're both good looking cars! :)

Bladerunner
My vote goes to the MK 7, not because I own one but there is a MK 6 ST next door and it just looks like a box, no interesting curves at all. Cheers.
MikeLangwine
i learnt to drive in the mk6 and it was horrible compared to my mk7 the steering is so much better even if it is lighter! the steering wheel is alot nice too! i felt like it was too big and very plastic! interior styling of the dashboard is better! one of the best out of the contenders of the price range! ManxKat
Old thread, but had to comment to defend the Mk6. I'm not gonna say what I think about Mk7's for fear of getting flamed, but I'm happy with mine so that's all that matters :)
M4RC
It's a tough one but put it this way I've literally just rid of my mk7 zs (still for sale) for a mk6 ST haha Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
