chris301up
Right. Whilst I have been trying to sort my injector fault I have now discovered another problem. There is quite a lot of water running from underneath the vehicle, especially when the engine is running and the cooling system is under pressure. I have removed the front carpets and there are no wet areas inside the vehicle. I now have it on ramps, removed the sound deadening material from underneath the vehicle, and can clearly see water running freely through the grommet, just in front of the one where the gear change cables enter the vehicle. I can only assume from its position that it relates to part of bottom of the heater matrix and blower unit? At present the coolant level has not dropped so am a little confused. Any ideas?
