Just wondering if someone can tell me how the handbrake handle comes off my Fiesta Freestyle. Its a 1.25 Zetec. I cant get the plastic handle to budge. Does it slide off (with some force) or does it have to be cut off ???
Reason I want to replace it is that I've managed to get one of those Richbrook Ford branded handbrake handles quite cheap (£12 delivered) and the original handbrake handle has to be removed to fit it.

Thanks

Not really 100% on the fiesta but I removed my ford one on my focus to put a brushed aluminium Ford one on and although its difficult with a bit of wiggling and strong pulling they do come off. They have little grippy teeth inside that arent meant to easily pull off.
