Mk1 Focus New Clutch Installed Loss Of 5Th Gear Please Help

Hi there have a ford focus mk1 1.8 petrol zetec and recently i have had a new clutch installed and it drives very well in every gear from 1-4 no problems going in gear at all and reverse too even goes into 5th where it should but once in 5th there is no drive at all it is like a second neutral does not crunch at all in any gear including 5th and i was wondering if anyone could possibly give me some advice as 5th gear was working perfect before the new clutch went in hope to hear from someone soon with some help or advice :)

have the gear selector cables been adjusted correctly? if you are getting 1-4 then it sounds like the clutch is doing its job to me

Hi there thanks for the reply im unsure about that as i took the car to a garage to have my clutch installed as i had to go straight to work that day they told me to take the car back to them for them to look at but they refuse to accept responsibility even though the car was fine before it went to them all gears were perfectly fine they tried blaming the gearbox but i know the gearbox is not the issue because it drives well but just with only 4 gears
