Two Very Quick Simple Questions?

1) Red Door Light/Reflector?

When you open either door on the new Focus you can see a red lense on the edge of the door built into the door lining, presumably so on coming traffic can see in the dark a door is open?

But is it a light or just a reflector?

It certainly looks like a light, but if so what switches it on?

2) Is there anyway that you can pause the play mode when using either the USB port or the CD player? Logic would suggest there should be, but I blowed if I can find a button that does it. And the manual is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot!

1) I don't know about the Focus specfically, but if it is a light it will come on with the interior light when you open the door. Often the reflectors do look like lights even though they're nor because in other markets they are lights.

2) Have you got a mute button on your head unit? If you do, this should mute the radio but pause a USB or CD playback.

1) It must be a refector then coz I have just tried all sorts of combinations and it hasnt lit up. :(

2) Spot on, many thanks for that. I knew there must be a button to do it somewhere. :D
