Painting Hubs/callipers

Hey guys,

I'm looking at taking the wheels off to paint the rear hubs and front callipers as I think it freshens up the look of the car and little noticeable decals like this stand out!

I was just wondering how many of you have done this and what are the strict do's and don'ts of something like this? Any tips?

Thanks!

I've done it :) Red on front & black on drums. Use a wire brush beforehand and remove all debris first. Don't get any paint on the discs ;)

You can have any colour on the front but please paint the drums black :)

Thanks for the advice!! Definitely doing the rear drums black, safe bet for sure and will go with anything! The callipers I'm thinking maybe a white or blue to match the base colour. Im thinking of these wheels:

or

or

Im not sure what would look best with the blue colour, I know it would be a pain to look after but im liking the idea of the blue with white wheels and white callipers, or black wheels with blue callipers. I know the different colour wheel choice will completely change the look of the car so hard to decide without 'trying' them on!!
