Dan2012
Just wondering if anyone knows the soloution to this problem. Fuse keeps blowing for the dashboard lights & stereo, it was working perfectly fine before and now it keeps blowing.
eyemdee
Have you done, or had anything done, to the car since it worked OK. A fuse blowing suggests a short circuit from +ve to -ve somewhere behind the dash. I would start by pulling out the stereo and look for any exposed live wire which could be earthing on metal. Dan2012
I have a light bulb out on the reg plate light, do you think the wires touching could cause it to short this? and no I havent done anything to it apart from taking the light out the reg plate due to the holder being for the bulb being broken. eyemdee
Unlikely - the number plate light will be on a lighting fuse probably with the tail lights, but the stereo and dash lights will be on an "ignition on" fuse. I would still look to be pulling the radio out for clues.
