Lawis
Hi All :) The clock on my stereo tends to get a tad confused... I'll set the date one day, and a few days later, the date will be wrong... Out by anything from 4-5 days, to a month or two. The time is nearly almost correct, so it's just the date thats pranging out... Head unit in question is the 6000 CD, Cheers guys!
artscot79
Cant say ive heard that one though im aware these head units can go funny inside and start doing weird things such as time not setting most change the head units i would have said pop the unit out it may be just a dodgy plug needing pushed in a bit its free so worth a try
Lawis
When i first viewed the car the Head Unit was broken, and wouldn't not eject a CD, but that was fixed. Quite possibly these two could be related! Once the weather has improved i'll take it out and have a peek at the wires :)
jg321
Mine is crazy also. If you change the time, as soon as you confirm it, the date jumps, sometimes by a few months. Then when you change the date back, the time jumps. It's a fine art getting it right! I also find it gets slow over time, but for the reasons above I leave it the hell alone! I've no other problems with the stereo except the above!
