johnnymac16
no idea, whats involved but looks like a hard job, wouldnt it be easier to just buy a 2nd hand st and have it like that... then u get the looks and comfort of a real st!!! or buy a new fiesta zetec s or titanium x with dress up kits etc
squaddiefox
i was thinking about this conversion, the easiest and cheapest option would be to find a smashed (rear ended) ST and nick the front off it. you will need to change: brakes (front and rear), ECU, gear linkages (as G/box is different) and the clutch linkage at least i reckon. if you do it yourself it could be financially viable, though a lot of hard work. dont forget it might involve cutting the chassis or engine mounting points and welding in new sections. if you modify the chassis then the vehicle WILL need to go for an SVA. you could end up wasting your money, far easier, if you aren't a dab hand with a spanner and a mig, is to pay someone else to do it for you. IIRC puma sport are doing a decent engine conversion.
