The stop / tail lamps are clear bulbs but you should get red LEDS as the white makes the lamps look pink.

Cree bulbs are best but a little pricey. Indicator LEDs will also need resistors for each bulb (x4) which will require you cutting you cars wiring loom.

I have a total LED conversion (almost everything apart from the headlight bulbs) it was checked by the police (they were very helpful, checked my tyres too ) and passed an MOT without a problem - as long as it not "silly" (like super-bright, or far too dark or blacked out) - i don't think there would be a problem

Can you get BS approved LEDs? as some modern cars use LEDs as standard
