Ideally the cheapest way would be to buy a key and get it cut by a locksmith, or if there is no transponder etc, you can get it done at timpsons.

I think you would need an auto locksmith then. You need the red training key for the car to code any other keys if you have a MK1 / MK1.5, which I don't believe you will have.

If you have a MK2, then you definably need an auto locksmith with Ford IDS>

Timpson can do the keys but they clone the chip, still works though, not all do the remote keys so phone and ask first. most suggest get a auto locksmith to do it

I strongly recommend using an auto locksmith.

You'll pay more than from a high street cutter but being programmed rather than cloned is far better.
