2004 modeo weird brake light problem

hi all

well i have a 2004 mondeo and i noticed the other day that every time i engage the clutch the brake lights flash on then off

seems very strange as i have never come across this b4

any suggestions what this could be

    Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top it up if it is low. In case the problem is cured then reappear few days later, check for any leaking of fluid near the gear box and brake pipes.
