I'm thinking if stripping some things out of my car before sending it to the scrap yard just to try get some money out of it

I'm taking all the switches and stereo facia as I put them on new and I will take the battery out

Is it worth getting the ecu out

Anything else worth salvaging and selling on eBay ????

Take the ECU, fuse board, instruments cluster, injectors, battery (if newish) they can all go for a few quid.

Best just remove the exhaust from the manifold to the tailpipe :-)

If it were me, I'd strip it bare. Pretty much everything has some value, right down to things like brake calipers, injectors, headlights/fogs/tail lights, parcel shelf, spare wheel/jack, anything you can get off the dashboard, courtesy lights, steering wheel and gearknob. Basically, anything you can remove, remove it. Just bear in mind that the things you take off will probably reduce the scrap value, unless you just plan on it being crushed anyway.
