Dr.Adamski Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 I have a 2002 Mondeo Zetec S which I bought last Friday. There was virtually no fuel in when I picked it up so I put £20 in which took the fuel gauge up to a quarter which seemed about right. Yesterday I put another £50 of petrol in but the gauge now shows just over a quarter. Is this a common problem and is it an expensive fix? I will probably fill the tank every week (I'll probably use about a quarter) so it shouldn't be a problem, but if it's a cheap fix then I'll get it done.
