Saturnyne
Hello - so I have this 2013 Titanium-X. Low down on the non-hinged interior side of the front doors appear to be red lights. I've not yet seen them come on at any point. What are they and when should they come on?

Ikoyian
Should come on when you unlock the car and open the door, along with the light strip above the glovebox and around the cup holders in the center console. If not check your settings under the menu on your stereo and check the 'Ambient Lighting' is set to on. That's if you're bothered if they come on or not! If they do not come on get it checked by a garage. The ambient lights commonly have little niggles on the Mk7.5..
matt1981
They are just reflectors aren't they? Think all fiesta trims have them

b1g_dav3
They're lights in mine. Get some LED's and hook them into the roof lighting :P
Saturnyne
I'll take some pictures tomorrow just to sure. The ambient lighting comes up - Cup Holders and Glovebox. If they're just reflectors, what exactly are they supposed to reflect?
iNath
They reflector themselves :p if you have your door open in the dark drivers can see them.
Saturnyne
They reflector themselves :P if you have your door open in the dark drivers can see them. That actually makes some sense! I was just slightly worried they were part of the ambient lighting which weren't working. Thanks all for your help. I'll be back with more daft questions soon, I'm sure. jackgl
It's a reflector that covers up a 10mm bolt (one of) that holds the door card on. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
