Am I Missing An Exhaust Mount?

Heard a rattle today sounding like exhaust hitting the underfloor.

Had a look and there's a peg on the crossmember(or chassis) like the one circled in the picture but no rubber mount.

Should there be one here?

This is just before it bends again going towards the back of the car.

hi sometimes u will find different mountings on cars that arent used until a after market exhaust is fitted, however i would expect there to be a mounting rubber if the weld has broken off the exhaust bracket itself. i had a rattle from the back to on mine it turned out to be the back exhaust heat sheild had rotted out and rattling on top of the exhaust

Had it in at kwik fit to get part of the exhaust replaced. Apparently, the extra bracket is for the ST twin exhaust

Your photo has disappeared Jim so I can't see what mount your talking about. Is it the one on the rear sub frame though by any chance?

It's at the rear and right in the middle. A little sort of peg for hooking a runner on
