FezDan
Morning all! I'm sitting at work and a Porsche Panamera has just pulled up out the back. Naturally I wandered out to take a look and noticed that on the rear doors there is what looks like a triangular laminated panel across the bottom quarter of the door near the wheel arch... I've searched the internet trying to work out what it is. My initial thoughts were that it might be a door entry guard? Really not too sure... Does anyone know what i'm on about? L666JER
If it's what I think it is, you tend to get that a lot on modern cars. It's to stop people from scuffing the paint work as they get in - just a protective film.

Strange that they only used it on the back doors and not the front. Edit:- Have just found a thread on 6speedonline and its exactly that, stone chip protective film.
