FOCA
Hi people am thinking of putting a subwoofer and amp into my ford fiesta ghia 2000 car I want to keep the standard cd player that the car came with, will this be possible and will it affect the quality of the sound? many thanks!! If the standard head unit does not have a line-out, you will need to take the signal for the sub, off the speaker output (high-level output) - this will be at a reduced ound quality from a line-level output and there may be more noise (hiss/ hum) If the sub does not have a high-level input you can buy adaptors - if you are careful about routing the cables and set it up carefully you may get it working to an acceptable level/ quality
