danfurse
Hi guys. New to posting so here goes! I have a 2004 mk6 fiesta finesse 1.25, all standard. The original silincer back box will soon need replacing as its blowing quite badly, and I want to replace with a sport back box. upon looking at the exhaust I noticed that it looks like the whole exhaust system is all one piece from front to back. Has anyone got any experience here who could help? Not really wanting to cut and weld pieces on if I can do it another easier way. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot! 馃槉馃憤
stef123
Hello and welcome. Most factory fitted exhausts are a one piece system. Any garage or yourself if your confident can cut the backbox off and clamp on a new section - no welding required
danfurse
Thanks for the reply, I think that's the only way around it, I'm into fabrication work myself so I think that's what I will do. So will most back boxes will come with a clamp? Or will I have to buy one separately? Thanks :)
stef123
Usually they don't come with anything unless someone has added it to make it into a 'kit'. They are cheap to buy, your local motor factor should have them for a 拢1 each or so.
