Irishman1127
Hi all, Spent a couple of hours doing the brakes on my Mk1 today. So this evening I had to pick up my son from a birthday party, I went out and started her up and had to move my wifes Beemer. Went back into the house to give her back her keys, as she was heading out, came back to the focus and the doors were locked! all of them and the motor running lights on and heater on full blast. So had to go in the beemer and collect the boy. Got home and managed to get to the drivers window switch with a CB antenna whip. http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133249&highlig will have a look at this tomorrow and see if it works for me.... Irishman1127
Just to add I squirted in the WD40 through the bottom torx screw hole in the door latch like the link i posted said. I did the drivers door first and within seconds all the locks popped open. I did all the other doors while i was at it. Hopefully it will work until the weather picks up a bit and i can pull all the latches out and clean them properly
