Clunking When Selecting Reverse After Front Spring Changed

Hi since changing the front o/s spring , I now have a clunk when selecting reverse from my auto Mondeo, job was a pain as ball joint would not engage , however after a few attempts the ball joint slipped into place, job complete however this issue has now developed, it has also developed a little vibration when deceleration , all gears select fine and drives okay, just this issue developed after spring done, just wondered if anyone can advise , regards Ken
