When To Renew Transmission Oil?

Hi lads and lasses.

I am putting my fiesta in for a service in the next few weeks.

Just wanting to know is should i get the transmission oil renewed. If so how much oil will I need to purchase?

No service interval on transmission oil, from factory has" oil for life. "

But no harm in having it changed .

2.5 litres is how much and synthetic 75w90 grade

Cheers. Is that grade for all fiesta. I have a mk6 1.6 zetec s 58 plate

always worth doing this at 75k I would say.

So u think I wouldn't benefit at all from doing it now when car has done 36000k

I would say 75k is the minimum but every 3 years would be of benefit.

yeah, I dont believe the cost is too excessive, but people tend to forget the gearbox, and forget that whilst the gears work they grind, they collect cack and the more that develops, the more likely it is to seize.
