Fusion 04 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 hi, im looking to modify my fusion..sounds stupid i know, but i think it could look good! does anyone no if the fusion is gonna share many parts with the mk6 fiesta, e.g. lowering springs?exhausts?induction kits? i think it probably does..just want a second opinion, any recommendations on lower her? I agree with you the seats are *(@3 (no very comfy) I was thinking about buying the new fusion, but I cant drive mine for more than a couple of hours without feeling like a 92 year old with a bad back. apness Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 Realise this isn't a busy thread, but figured I'd ask - is it worth chipping the 1.4 diesel and does it make much difference to its sluggish performance? I've had my leon (tdi 150) chipped since 2k miles and its hard to drive the car without it - feels like a snail unchipped - so figured it'd be worth doing the same to the wifes car to make it a bit less 'challenging' at junctions and when the road opens up a bit. Might be better on fuel too hopefully with not having to thrash it so hard. The Leon does about 4-500 on a tank depending on driving but chipped tends to do a few more mpg thanks to more torque less hard work, hopefully the little ford might do the same. The best info i have been given is they are ford fitted as extra in some parts of europe other than that i have no idea sorry. Makes it look good doesn't it?
