Hi guys I've got a 2001 gen 1 focus 1.6 and it's started a really annoyiannoying rattle when I go over bumps , I've changed the front and rear drop links on the roll bars , checked the cat for rattles and the heat shield . Can anyone help it's annoying and a worrying . By the way it sounds like a rattling can of screws

I'll look at that , it sounds like it's from the front drivers side . Cheers

Are the wishbone bushes worn out?

Haven't check those . Wasn't sure if it might be loose slide bolts on the caliper . I am running it on 18 inch alloys but don't think that could cause a problem

Not sure what alloys your running on but the small centre caps covering the wheel nuts on my old st170's alloys had loosened up over the years, not enough to fall out but they rattled pretty good over bumps, took me a while to figure it out after checking the more important bits on the wheel station....

I'm running ZCW Angel rims 18 inch ford focus fitment . Are they the caps covering where the bearing is ? .

Yes the cap covered my wheel nuts and hub nut, after it's been prised off a couple of times it got quite loose and rattled in the wheel on both fronts, the Allen bolts around the edge are fake (just for show)post-65747-0-11598500-1432592157_thumb.j
