footfistart
I have a new set if tail lights to install to my mk6 but have a couple of questions. Been looking at the guide and doesn't make a lot of sence. Looks a bit of a mess and I hate mess like that. So there must be an easier way ie depin and solder new wire to existing one. I'm not one for cutting wire ect as my electric skills are crap which is why a mate of mine is doing it. So all I need to do is run two more wires from either side (left to right or right to left) from fog to fog nd reverse to reverse. Cant be much else to that right? I'll be running cables with the existing loom so I don't run risk of chaffing wires and causing problems. Many thanks Ryan
footfistart
Could you not get the facelift plug from its own wireloom so that you would have the same plug both sides and wire it up that way instead? I think that would be easier than chopping everything up.
GingerFlame
I have a guide on my profile, I'll link in a minute. All of the wiring is different. Easiest way to do it is solder the facelift connector onto the prefacelift wiring. After completely rewiring you then have to run an insulated 2 core cable through the bottom of the boot

GingerFlame
I don't have any pictures of the finished wiring anymore I'm afraid.
