Milodog
I have posted a similar topic but have since had further dabblings from 3rd party's thus progressing my research In short my reverse camera stutters between the picture on the screen and say radio/gps/other. With the camera being an extremely weak picture I removed the various panels in the boot to access the camera and wires and found nothing alarming and all looking clean. Further advice says i should get the software updated to 5.3 via a dealership to see if this helps. However money, time off work etc does not really see this feasible especially of i get no resolve Question...if not allowed apologies please delete post, can i install the said software myself (behind the volume control) however i not sure what i am googling in order to find the said software i.e 'Bosch 5.3 software' so i stuck?? jeebowhite
Not sure you will get the right download, you may be able to track it down online, maybe buy as an SD card, but I dont rate the chances, as I thought they did a VIN validation on the SD. jace1969
I would like to know how you get on with this. I have a 2011 tit with this fitted from new working off mirror,i have had the car 12 months about now from ford. When i had it i had problems with the camera going ( blue screen/green screen sometimes) and a few lines when it did work, like something was interfering with the signal, went to ford as still covered and camera was no good. They said nothing about up-date/software just fitted a new camera which would of cost £200 area, all fine now.
Milodog
Having striped down the boot panel and removed the rear registration light I 'fiddled' with the cables and at the moment seem to have cured the problem. I could not see obvious problems but happy I have resolved it
jeebowhite
could have been as "simple" as a loose connection then?
