Focusingon
Hi I was just driving along and seemed to loose the turbo. got slower and slower. switched off and on again and it was going fine till I slowed for a corner then limp mode again. I had it on a computer and it came up with P1000 and was told not to worry about this. I had a blanking plate on the EGR so removed that and made no difference, changed the fuel filter and tried unplugging the MAF. Still the same. I can drive the car no problem if I start it and take it over 2000RPM all the time, as soon as I drop below that RPM or just under it back into limp mode till I re start and off again. obvoiusly this is a pain at junctions and corners. With no faults showing up no lights on dash has anyone any ideas what it could be please? Thanks Mike
jeebowhite
P100o I think is just CANBUS COMMUNICATION ERROR, so something isnt getting what it expects. Ordinarily when you slow down and it cuts out, that means there is a fuel flow issue, but changing the filter should have helped with that. Is it possible you have air in the fuel filter? Focusingon
Thanks for the reply's. We noticed a crack in the turbo solenoid repaired it but still the same. blocked the pipe and it runs fine so I have ordered another off eBay to see if that works.
Focusingon
New solenoid fitted it's still playing up!! I unplug the solenoid and rod moves at turbo plug it in again rod moves back. So isn't the solenoid or the actuator rod or the part that sits on top of the left front shocker as had a spare one of those I know works and still didn't fix it. Problem goes away when middle pipe blocked with a bolt on solenoid. Runs fine with the bolt kept blocking that pipe???
