laumk7
As above really, I'm seriously considering an rs as my next car after I've paid off my current car of course lol I test drove a st2 focus and it felt like it had been ragged to death, clutch awfully high, spluttering, high mileage for its age, etc. In fact it was more the kind of car I'd expect from a backstreet dealer than a main dealer showroom used car tbh. So I'll be buying from new Anyway I assume when they're out they stay out for a number of years, so when was the current car over on the Ford spec website released? alexp999
It hasn't been released yet. Orders have opened, but first deliveries are March 2016 iirc.
Dee_82
was watching some videos of the new RS creation, the spluttering and burbles were apparently engineered in to the car, might have been the same for the ST2 as well. Apparently even tho its a waste of fuel and a sign of inefficiency we drivers like to hear it, so they added them back in.
alexp999
If the ST Laurie drove was spluttering it was probably the known engine wiring loom fault. But then if the clutch was high, it has probably been ragged. Which is why I bought a new ST, not the sort of car I'd be happy having second hand.
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Me too - although mine will be a very good buy when it goes :) I'm not keen on the Focus RS . . . . . the 5.0 V8 Mustang on the other hand is a beaut :)
