Boot light

I just stuck 5050 led tape down each side under the plastic edges, wired up to the light cable with (gasp) scotchlocks (gasp). Obviously the tape is visible if you look, however you won't see it in normal use.

Exceptional light to find what I want, day or night.

So I wired in 2. Went to put in a 3rd because I didn't think it was bright enough and they all switched off. Could I have blown a fuse?

The lights turn off after the boot has been open for either 10 or 20 minutes

Yeah I checked that. They aren't turning back on and the light in the front now doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it's the fuse I just don't know what one it is

It'll be the fuse then, does the horn work? The fuse for the horn & interior lights were the same on the mk6 fiesta, dont know wether the focus is the same

Where can I get new fuses? I'm assuming any car parts shop?

You can usually get mini blades from just about anywhere, my Tesco even sells them.  Maplin electronics, Halfords, most garages which sell accessories, eurocarparts, screw fix, B&Q.

They aren't hard to find and if you have a bit of time you can also get them on eBay and amazon etc, they will be a lot cheaper on line, not that they are that expensive in the shops though.

Ah, The earlier fusebox.

It's number 80, still 10A.

Awesome thank you. Should I wore in the lights then put a new fuse in or do the fuse first then carry on doing the lights?
