nodster66
I am trying to remove the inlet manifold butam having trouble. I have undone all bolts/cables etc but cannot get it free from the top left of the manifold. Does anyone know if there is an underneath bolt or anything else that may explain it. It shakes/wobbles, moves when I try to remove it but still seems attached in the corner somehow, and yes def all bolts on top have come out. The manifold seems a bit rare for a mk2? - either way it's the one i have. Thanks
mac801123
I've not worked on these, but could there be a steady bar holding the manifold to the block to help make it stable. Just a thought?? Mike
nodster66
Thanks, how would you normally go about getting it off if it had one?? Slide it, unscrew it? I'm so close its frustrating (not helped when I gave up and screwed it back on I am now in 'limp mode' so even more desperate to get it off? mac801123
I think this is the one you have... and it looks like you have more than just the inlet bolts to undo?!
