i've got a 2005 focus 1.6tdci and wanted some seat covers and while in my local aldi they had a full set of leather look seat covers which were apparentley a 'universal fit' and the picture looked the mutts nutts ....my ***** it's like looking at a macdonalds menue and seeing the perfect burger but when you get it , it looks like its been through a washing machine , so does anyone know where i can can some seat covers and apparrently i've got sports seats (whatever that means) :blink:

Each to their own however, sure that these are probably worth the money over "Generic" ones that you can buy for much less.

If youre after the leather look then full leather interiors from people breaking cars go fairly cheap on eBay sometimes. Might be worth setting an alert on eBay for any that get listed.

If you want leather look, by far the best option is to do what Wes suggests and buy a full leather interior

The problem with universal covers (leather or otherwise) is that they fit everything badly,

Aint that the truth!  I have yet to find a snug fitting choice.  I did try a Richbrooke "Genunine Ford" one but it did not fit well nor was it anything like good enough for the job.
