Without stripping a door card off, can anyone tell me the size of the rear door Speakers. MkII Focus.

don't forget to use aftermarket speaker adaptor rings aswell; there model specific and different set for front and rear doors.

I sure did mate,

not one screw or bolt left over thanks to the haynes manual and some zip lock bags keeps everything categorised 😉 spent six months stock piling all the parts then took three days off work to strip install and rebuild.

resulting in a 10" roof monitor, tv tuner, reverse camera, dual dash cam, two amplifiers, WiFi router, 10" sub enclosure, full speaker upgrade and a 1.0 Fared capacitor installed with factory finish.

When removing the door cards I highly recommend replacing the plastic clips there available in packs of 20 on eBay

The nuts bolts and washers are purchased separately from local DIY store size M6 x 20mm hex head bolts with nylon lock nuts 

 

You may also consider fitting some DEi Boom speaker baffles they enhance bass prevent panel rattle and protect speaker from moisture I have them fitted in all four doors.

Do they also help to reduce the booming that gets through my double-glazing 30 feet back from the road?

😯well they do keep more of the bass inside the car but in fairness to generate resonating bass which travels that distance will be caused by an amplified sub in a sealed enclosure rather than a set of door Speakers.

there are two types of sub enclosure this one in green is a 15" ported sub enclosure it throws out loud bass with very little resonance to surrounding area.🙉

And this is a 10" sealed enclosure it puts very little bass out to be heard, it's purpose is to put out resonating bass which takes away your breath and tickles your grannys pacemaker at bus stop🙊

Too much to be fair 😁 aside from the audio and entertaInment upgrades which keep the kids quiet; the rest of it was an enjoyable experience but have done it all once now; I wouldn't do it again.
