Timing belt change on a 2008 Ford Focus 1.8 petrol Titanium, + front brake pads

I've got 2 quick things i need to ask about.

My car is a Ford Focus 1.8 Titanium petrol on a 2008 plate, it's currently done 86,400 miles. When would the timing belt need to be changed ? I believe it's advisable to change the water pump at the same time, is that correct ? If so can someone post a link to a timing belt kit for this car that contains a water pump, i had a look on euro car parts and they don't seem to do them.

While i'm here, i want to change the front pads and possibly the discs as well on the car, what makes are people using these days on a similar focus ?

Cheers

Your car should be chain driven, therefor just the auxiliary belt to change.

I personally stick to pagid discs and pads for my car and every other car I do unless stated otherwise.

Thanks Steff

So basically the chain never needs to be changed ? Recently i had a belt changed on my car because it was squeeking mainly on cold starts, would that be the aux belt you mentioned, on the receipt it just says fit new multi rib stretch belt. If that is the aux belt then no other belts need to be changed on my car for a while ?

Thanks for recommending pagid discs and pads, i'll order those.
