2005 fiesta air vent selector cable

Hi all ok new to this forum and after owning many a ford over the years' it's my partners car i need some help with. She bought a 55 plate  Aquarius Blue fiesta style, nice car and well looked after hence why she bought it. Now the trouble is ive just swapped the head unit the triple dash one its all gone easy as pie right up to refitting it the cable that controls the air vent direction the wire the one which is shaped like a green party proper has detached from the back some where and i don't know where to connect the black end of this cable back an help would be   appreciated
