Windscreen washers problem

When I use the washers to clear my windscreen the wipers just keep going no matter what I try. I need to stop the car and turn off the engine. Normal wipers turn on and off as normal. Anyone else had this problem. 

 

2013 2.0 tdci 163 Titanium 4x4 auto.
