Dave74
I am trying to locate an ignition live on a 2018 current Ford Fiesta, Ford seems to have completely changed the fuse box on the new fiesta with micro fuses etc and none of which are an ignition live, this is for a dash cam, I don’t really want to do a wire tap, there must be a fused ignition live inside the car somewhere, why have ford made this so dam difficult, I have been and tested all the fused in the inside fuse box with a test meter. Has anyone been able to locate one?
Jonro2009
The 12v socket fuse is a switched live, it loses power after about 45mins. Turn the engine off and then recheck the fuses after an hour, you will find one
jsk
Try fuse 10 in the fuse box at the passengers feet. It's a mico fuse and I am pretty certain that is the one I have got my dashcam piggy backed onto. Live with the ignition 'on' dead with ignition 'off'. Hope this helps. Also if I remember right the picture of the fuse box in the manual is the opposite way round to the way you look at it in the car.
