I love the fiesta mk1 and mk2 love the smell of leaded petrol reminds me of my clio :D

My brothers piano teacher has a pretty mint mk1 fiesta, he loves it! spends far too much money on it, but doesn't tell his wife about it! brill!

Our's was a white diesel too.

I'd go back to an old Pug if it was decent too.

Oh I didn't realise that, would be hard to find one that could have your plate. Hmmm, what a dilemma! 205 or PP?! :o

I'm having a night of old pug hunting now!!

I despise the Mk3s for some reason.

SAME! i really, really don't like them. Even though the MK4 is basically exactly the same car with some more curves and a better interior, really don't like the MK3's!

My Dad used to have one (here we go ) and on the day it was to be scrapped I used it to use up the diesel in it. Absolutely hideous. Totally different creature to drive compared to the Mk4 even thought they have the same chassis ... Amazing what a new supsension design can do! Well done Ford! :P

Well done ford indeed! I do like my MK4, shall always have a soft spot for it for many years to come.

This week it shall celebrate it's 80,000th mile!

Milestone warning!

I video'd the moment my old Pug's odometer when it turned to 100,000 miles. Oh my god how sad is that?!

It made my day! It's very distracting I find though, you can't help but check it like every couple of seconds.

Aaaaaah! I just found an advantage to your mk4! See these mk7 owners dont have the same excitment watching a digital odometer!

Welcome to the high mileage club!

Done 22,000 miles in 10 months in my old Focus. Which I believe is about double the average annual mileage.

Woops!! I told Quinn i'd do 8k a year, which is a realistic estimate, i'll probably end up doing around 10k. I think the problem arises when you tell your insurance company you'll do 2k a year, then end up doing 12k. I'm sure there are many, many people that try and do that. It's all well and good, until you have to claim of course!!!

I tell mine I do 12k ... Obviously a massive under-estimate! I've never heard anyone being refused a claim due to their mileage though. I've heard it can happen, but never heard it from someone with it happen to them.

I suppose, like i said, when people put low annual mileage for a cheaper premium, then i presume that insurance companies would act upon that.

I can't see any point in !Removed! about with insurance, it's your only lifeline in the event of an accident.

I tried explaining that to my mate. He'd alter anything just to get it cheaper, I think hes stupid for doing it. He says his cars garaged ... his house doesn't even have a garage and his cars on a main road. He's told them he does something stupid like 2k miles a year. And best of all, he's told them his cars had an engine swap to a 1.1.

He'll learn the hard way one day.

To be honest people like that deserve to learn the hard way!

Crikey alot of posts tonight!!!

Only reason I got rid of it is because I lost my job soon after I passed my test and couldn't afford to keep it. Sad thing is I owned the car longer as a learner than I did as a full license holder. It's still running around in Chepstow (only 10 miles away), I'd have it back any day.

You should ask the owner if you could have it back as you forgot about the unactivated bomb you planted all those moons ago

How did you put a picture of your old car on the main screen the way you done. cheers
