I read a Focus vs Leon article yesterday that mentioned the rear suspension.  They do seem to suggest the twist beam is worse than they were expecting which probably isn't what Ford were going for.

I didn't realise the Leon also had a TB setup on the 1.5 though.  Is there any 'midsized' hatch that comes with IRS on smaller engines now? :unsure:

As someone else with multi-link I'd concur with that

But would that not mean that from the outside there would appear to be more suspension movement as the suspension reacted to maintain the body stable

one is budget rubbish that kind of allows the wheel to move in some vague relationship to the road

I almost cancelled my order last summer, turns out their T&Cs meant I didn’t have a leg to stand on. 
I thought mine was high spec!!

a chap at a bike shop informed me high prices were deliberate

make them expensive so you can't afford to buy new, but make the PCP affordable to get you on the lease bandwagon... then make them die early, to ensure we all switch over
