Strange Noise from Footwell

Hi All, 

I wonder if someone could help me out here, maybe you've had a similar issue.

Shown in the image attached, I am hearing a strange knocking noise coming from my car. This happens every day, without fail. Sometimes it could be quiet, other times loud. My assumption is that this is a fan knocking another piece of plastic behind the panel, but wanted to be certain. I've had the car since March 2019, noise was unnoticeable at first. Now my ears fail to ignore ha.

Any wise words will be greatly appreciated.

    I assume it's a climate control model?  Sounds like the cabin temp fan.

    Correct, I have climate control. Soon I plan to take a look at the area and remove some panels. I'm hoping the fan is hitting something.
